
I took a picture of a flower in my room, and then enhanced it on my computer to look like a watercolor painting. I think that it is neat how the center of the flower is unchanged from the original picture while the rest of the flower is unique.
Artists nurture their ability to find interest or beauty in the mundane, the ordinary and the natural world. Through practice, they accentuate this focus, typically as a driving force in their work. From Observation is a community blog project that engages its participants to take part in this exercise by finding beauty and interest in their everyday lives.
